Laura Leigh is constantly trying to end the destruction of the wild horses and burros. I haven't seen many people with her ability; and sometimes her courage is beyond most. I do follow Mike Cox who has also done amazing work, if you check out his blog (probably have to go to facebook and get a link to his blog) you will find stories that will blow your mind concerning the illegal activities and how the legal system has neglected to be able to charge anyone with crimes of abuse, theft of federal dollars, and mismanagement of the BLM. As we face this year, we face one of the most dangerous years for the wild horses and burros according to federal regulations concerning "sustainability" which is a word taken into the states to implement Agenda 21. Under Agenda 21, the "sustainability" of the public lands do not include wild horse and burros and even the fact that people own horses in some areas that graze - they are taking into consideration of forcing the removal of private owners rights as to the grazing of horses, wild or not. The object of the Agenda 21 is to remove wild horses and burros in the public lands; some even suggest to sell the public lands which will bring more problems with people being able to take the wild horses that go on their lands and sell them to slaughter facilities (under contracts to ship them to places like Mexico and Canada).
