Coffee Clutch with Dutch Henry: "WHE and Laura Leigh Win Another One For The Wild ...

Laura Leigh is constantly trying to end the destruction of the wild horses and burros. I haven't seen many people with her ability; and sometimes her courage is beyond most. I do follow Mike Cox who has also done amazing work, if you check out his blog (probably have to go to facebook and get a link to his blog) you will find stories that will blow your mind concerning the illegal activities and how the legal system has neglected to be able to charge anyone with crimes of abuse, theft of federal dollars, and mismanagement of the BLM. R.T. Fitch, Carol Walker, and many others. Don't forget to check out Cloud the Stallion on facebook and the blogs that will be posted you will be able to find many authors there. As we face this year, we face one of the most dangerous years for the wild horses and burros according to federal regulations concerning "sustainability" which is a word taken into the states to implement Agenda 21. Under Agenda 21, the "sustainability" of the public lands do not include wild horse and burros and even the fact that people own horses in some areas that graze - they are taking into consideration of forcing the removal of private owners rights as to the grazing of horses, wild or not. The object of the Agenda 21 is to remove wild horses and burros in the public lands; some even suggest to sell the public lands which will bring more problems with people being able to take the wild horses that go on their lands and sell them to slaughter facilities (under contracts to ship them to places like Mexico and Canada). I wish I could give you information that I have personally found out myself, but the best I can do right now is to reblog these wonderful stories for you and to ask you to check out the reputable sites. Equine World Alliance, Animals Angels, and many others. Just make sure that reputable people are running the programs. You can always ask R.T. Fitch or Terry Fitch, Laura, about the many fb pages and groups that are helping nonstop 24/7. God bless them, because we are in the fight for the horses and burros lives this year, and without a doubt, the economy of the U.S. will play a huge part in the wild horses ability to survive. Well, enjoy the article and I am signing off now. NEVER GIVE UP!

Coffee Clutch with Dutch Henry: "Kessy Carried Me Gently"

As we go about our daily lives, we hardly ever get to share these stories with others. Thanks to my friend L. Paytes I read a good story with a good ending for today. With all the ideas floating around about just how much animals do know...just know this, I can relate to this story. Many times my horse put up with my inability to ride correctly and he certainly was patient and really took care of me when I was a teenager - a wreckless  rider that often let my horse lead us because he was surefooted and sound - without a doubt in HIS ability, my days with my horse Elijah will never be forgotten. Jumping a culvert at galloping speeds he took me over with a spectacular jump. I was frightened; and of course Elijah had to rare up afterwards letting me know that he also was excited and also a little bit proud of himself. As I eased back around, we checked on my best friend, D. Crow who was riding a paint horse that day...well, his paint decided that to show just how accurate he was, he stopped on a dime before the culvert and D. Crow flew over and landed in the culvert. I was hoping I didn't have to lift him up on the paint and get him home with broken bones, but to my surprise he was watching my horse jump the culvert and rare up...a picture perfect moment not for cameras but for the precious memories of a teenage girl...never to be forgotten. Thanks to Elijah and D. Crow, I had a wonderfully safe day that day...somehow my horse knew more than me, without my ability to see, my horse certainly did and as a horse of intelligence, I concur, horses have much more intelligence, compassion, and bonding than we think they do. And yes, Mr. Henry, I talked to my horse everyday/night. Thank you for the story.
