As far as I know, Boulder will be scheduled to be removed because he is over 10. I hope someone keeps track of him so he can be saved. As to Cloud's new foal; I can only pray it can withstand the horribly long and treacherous gallop that the foal's stallion dad and his mare mom will have to travel to keep the helicopter from hitting them. Of course, Echo and any other horses his age will be under extreme duress, stress, and the entire health of any herds of any roundups are put in imminent danger, especially the foals...and counting the foals when they arrive, if they are left in the field for those civilian contractors to go and hog tie to retrieve where the public can't see them; it is more than enough for the entire population of the United States to try to keep up with; and BLM is moving quickly to see if we can all keep up. I hope I have enough people surrounding me to keep up when I slow down. Today, during the warning of the Jackson Mountain herd roundups, we scrambled fast to try to get help. Someone was very blessed and found a wonderful politician to stop the roundup today; but, it will continue even if the heat is 90 degrees. We are quite confused as to the reason why these roundups occur during foaling season if BLM is not actually using these horses to sell to kill buyers. There is no reason to roundup foals at this age, and no reason why the BLM can't water and feed them should they need it. One helicopter roundup costs over 1 million dollars; which is a civilian contract. The BLM however, has employees and can hire employees to go out and water and feed for a lot less than a million dollars which goes to the helicopter pilot alone. And, I don't care what someone else tells you, each horse/foal has a price on it's head of at least $250.00 each...that is the reason why the public is not allowed to see everything; to know everything; and to be informed of all costs incurred and all horse counts, including all foals. The number of deaths for foals are not counted if they are under a certain age. I have received emails from these agencies that are from their PR department and they want me to support their efforts in continuous secrecy to the public...and I can't do that. Yes, I am respectful of their office; but I know that we can demand that the operations of the Secretary of Interior's job description be changed and the BLM's objectives and their job description be changed through the Department of Interior and the Senate. This is going to be a fight to the finish; and I won't ever disrespect someone, but I will not put up with someone placating me or talking down to me, or disrespecting me - insulting my intelligence...even though there are many more intelligent people who know more about these things than I do. BLM is still a service agency that services the American people and the federal policies are governed by the federal law; and no one is above the law when it comes to animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, or killing - especially on federal lands. Thank about it. Who do you call when it has to do with federal lands; who is the only agency that can help or investigate these abuses of office except a federal agency...the FBI. And, the FBI can take it to the U.S. Attorney General's office, and they can take it to the Department of Justice's Department also. Just think...and do what is right, we have to abide by the laws; and we demand that the laws be fair and just and when they aren't we expect changes. Well, we have to do what it takes to prove that these changes have to be made. I hate doing it too. I want to say that BLM is doing a wonderful job - and maybe someday I can say that. But, not today.
